Completions and Workovers in Canada
- Completed, stimulated and tested high-volume, high GOR sour wells in resident sensitive areas.
- Designed and installed high-volume electric submersible pumps, progressive cavity pumps, plunger-lift de-watering systems and down-hole separation and water disposal systems for low productivity gas wells.
- Designed and completed the conversion of producing wells to acid-gas and corrosive salt water injection wells.
- Completed and worked over high-volume critical sour oil and gas wells.
- Completed and stimulated hydrocarbon bearing over-pressured fractured shale.
- Reduced water production in oil zones using both cement and polymers. Also reduced sand flow-back after fracture stimulation by implementing the use of resin coated sand in a plol development program.
- Performed selective stimulation and isolated water producing areas in horizontal wells.
- Safely managed forced closure operations for fracture stimulations with pressures up to 10,000 psi or 70 MPA.
- Evaluated the relative effectiveness of progressive cavity pumps versus beam pumps in directional wells.
- Analyzed and programmed wells for re-completion as coal bed methane (CBM) producers.
